Why Should I Join SBS?

Being a member of the Sports Business Society allows you access to our meetings where we discuss important topics related to the sports industry. Joining SBS will give you the opportunities to connect with different professionals around the country that will help you learn more about the opportunities that you can get. SBS is a welcoming environment that caters to all majors and we hope you will help you make more connections with the students at ISU.

Our History

In the Spring of 2019, our two founders Brian Weber and PJ McLees came up with the idea to bring education of the sports industry in every facet to ISU. Their vision became complete in the Fall of 2019 when the first meeting of the Sports Business Society was conducted.  Finding resources on the campus of ISU to learn more about the industry was difficult and creating this organization was to help bring the opportunity of education to the students. Working with their close friends to bring their goal to fruition, SBS is now in its second year of existence thanks to ISU and the great members of this organization. Together as a motivated group, we can accomplish the same goals that were set when we were created.
